  13. 4-5 chopped beans
  14. 2 tbsp tomato paste
  15. 1 tsp lemon juice or to taste
  16. 1 handful coriander leaves, chopped
  17. 3 tbsp roasted peanuts
  18. 3 tbsp roasted Cashews

Steps to make to make Matar Poha / Pea Poha

  1. Boil 2 cups water with 1tsp salt and 1/2tsp turmeric powder. Let it to be lukewarm.
  2. Into a strainer, add flattened rice (poha). Rinse it under turmeric-salt water. Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes before cooking.
  3. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the panchforan and let them pop. Add green chilli. Add all chopped vegetables and curry leaves, stir and Cook for 2 minutes until the onions soften.
  4. Add tomato paste, pea (matar), 1/2tsp turmeric powder and Maggi Masala. Mix and cook for another 2 minutes. Then add in the rinsed poha and toss to combine.
  5. Now cover the pan with a lid for 2 minutes, turn the flame to low.
    Open lid stir and adjust salt.
    Turn off the heat.
    Squeeze in some fresh lemon juice.
    Add some roasted peanuts and cashews.
