- 2 capsicum cut into diced
- 1/4 cup green beans chopped
- 1/4 cup green peas
- 2 tbsp methi leaves
- 1 green tomato
- 3 green chillies crushed
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds crushed
- 1 tsp fennel seeds crushed
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 inch cinnamon,
- 5-6 pepper corns,
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 tsp Salt or as taste
- 3 tbsp oil
- For tempering:-
- 1/4 cup spinach finely chopped
- 1/2 capsicum cut into Julienne
- 2-3 green chillies slit
- 1 tsp flax seeds
- 1 tbsp Desi ghee
- 2 tbsp fried onion
Steps to make to make Tadka Green pulao
- Wash and soaked the rice into water for1/2 hour. Meanwhile chopped all veggies.


- Heat oil in a kadhai add cumin seeds,pepper corns cinnamon.when it splatter add crushed green chillies and ginger garlic paste..saute one minute add chopped green tomato.add some salt and cook for 2 minute.



- Add chopped beans and green peas.cook 2-3 minutes stir occasionally. Add crushed coriander seeds,fennel seeds and garam masala powder. Mix well add little water, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame.add diced capsicum mix and cook for another minutes.



- Add chopped methi leaves mix again cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame. Meanwhile the veggies has cooked boil the rice along with 1.5tsp salt and bay leaf until it cooked 75%



- Now the veggies has done and rice has cooked then drain the water and add boiled rice in kadhai mix gently with vegetables.cover and cook on simmer for 8-10 minutes.after that turn off the flame



- Now take all ingredients of tempering.heat ghee in tempering pan first add chopped spinach leaves saute for 1 minute.then add slit green Chilli and capsicum's Julienne saute on high flame for 2-3 minutes.



- When spinach turns brown and crisp add flax seeds saute half a minute and switch off the flame.add this tempering on the top of cooked rice.cover and leave it for 5 minutes.then open add fried onion and serve hot.
